As a Part-Time Team Leader at Sportchek, you will be instrumental in crafting outstanding customer interactions by assisting shoppers in finding their desired products swiftly and effortlessly. Your previous experience in retail or leadership will enable you to serve as a role model for the team and manage store operations when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to help your team meet performance goals.
  2. Offer guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to team members.
  3. Oversee store operations in the absence of management, including key holding duties and opening and closing tasks.
  4. Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring restocking, seasonal transitions, inventory management, pricing, and signage are properly handled through staff oversight.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  1. At least 6 months of experience in retail
  2. A minimum of 6 months of experience in a mentoring or coaching role
  3. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
