Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) in the Greater Toronto Area to deliver speech therapy services under the supervision of a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
The CDA will be responsible for conducting individualized therapy sessions with clients throughout the GTA. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as the CDA will travel to various locations, including residences, daycare facilities, workplaces, and clinics.

- Deliver therapeutic services to clients of diverse age groups (children, adults, and rehabilitation patients) under the guidance of a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Engage with clients from various backgrounds and specialized groups.
- Collaborate with SLPs and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and adapt therapy materials as necessary.
- Provide families with relevant resources, information, and home-based programs.
- Assist in organizing workshops for parents and clients.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through classes and workshops to stay informed on best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Completion of an accredited Communicative Disorders Assistant Program.
- Membership in CDAAC.
- Preferred experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
