Marketing Content Strategist

At Reitmans (Canada) Limited, we are seeking a talented creative writer to join our RW&CO. brand marketing team as a Marketing Content Specialist.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled content creator to develop and implement a content strategy that drives engagement and awareness across all platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brand voice and tone, as well as experience in creating compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities- Content Creation: Develop and write high-quality content for multi-platform publications, including newsletters, social media, and website/editorial pages, that reflects our brand's unique tone of voice.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute innovative ideas for campaigns and promotions throughout the year.
- Brand Storytelling: Write compelling brand stories and other copy that resonate with our target audience and drive conversions across all touchpoints.
- Content Optimization: Ensure all content is consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for SEO.
- Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- University Degree: A degree in Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or a comparable field of study.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience creating content for digital and eCommerce marketing.
- Writing Experience: 2+ years of experience writing editorial content, preferably in fashion and beauty.
- Language Skills: Bilingual, with the ability to create content that resonates with clients across Canada.
