Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Smitty's Restaurant and Lounge is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Operational Efficiency: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supply requirements, and optimize kitchen operations for maximum efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
