Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Dogwood Lodge Long-Term Care Home. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to our patients, including diagnosing diseases, prescribing medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Four years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience
  • Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)
