No Frills is seeking a dedicated and experienced Department Manager to lead our front-end operations and contribute to a positive customer experience.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage and supervise a team of cashiers, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the efficient operation of the cash office, including cash handling, deposits, and reconciliation.
  • Analyze reports to identify trends, address performance issues, and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate pricing information, manage price changes, and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
  • Collaborate with the bookkeeper to support store administration functions, including payroll processing and accounting tasks.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and safeguard company assets.
  • Coordinate cashier activities, provide training and support, and address customer complaints effectively.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a retail management role with a strong understanding of front-end operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
