Medical Laboratory Technologist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Laboratory department, you will be responsible for carrying out laboratory testing procedures and related duties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory testing procedures and related duties under the supervision of a Lead Medical Technologist.
- Collect and process laboratory samples, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care and support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of laboratory policies and procedures.
- Graduate from a recognized course in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Must possess a General Certificate.
- Must be eligible for membership with Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists.
