About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Branch Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls, processing orders, and promoting our products to generate increased sales and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients
- Process orders and quotations using various methods and collaborate with the inside sales team on quotation requests
- Manage all incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner
- Source parts and equipment in collaboration with buying groups and suppliers
- Understand clients' needs and suggest appropriate products or services to achieve satisfaction
- Build and maintain sustainable customer relationships and trust through open communication
- Follow company guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Address customer concerns and offer solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Conduct physical inventory and maintain inventory accuracy and cleanliness
- Perform various other related duties, including on-call duties, as assigned by the supervisor
- Ability to lift or move heavy products (up to 50lbs.)
- Forklift training will be required if the individual does not already possess it
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation after 3 months, which may involve attending the branch for emergency call-outs
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional phone manner and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Problem-solving abilities
- High School Diploma
- Good sales abilities and persuasiveness
- Ability to work under pressure unsupervised
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Good organization skills
- Professional demeanor
- Previous experience in the HVAC-R industry, retail sales, or a technical-related field (an asset)
- Completion of a professional degree in refrigeration, heating, ventilation (an asset)
- Safety footwear required
