We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher, Retail to join our team at MECCA HALAL MEATS AND GROCERY. Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Weigh and price meat products
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Grind meats and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Train and mentor meat cutters and other team members
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
