Job Title: Butcher - Retail or Wholesale

Gulshan Market is seeking a skilled Butcher - Retail or Wholesale to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
  • Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
  • Weigh meats for sale and price meat products
  • Cut and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
  • Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers as needed
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or wholesale meat department
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in a cold environment
Working Conditions:
