Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 101486 P.E.I. Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations, and ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
- Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
- Cash Handling and Administration: Handle cash and credit transactions, and perform administrative tasks as required.
- Education and Certification: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a cook or chef, with a valid Safe Food Handling certificate and other relevant certifications.
- Language and Communication: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
