We are a multi-disciplinary health clinic in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a patient-centered approach to diagnosis, treatment, and patient education. Our integrative approach has created longstanding, trusting practitioner-patient relationships from across the province.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time massage therapist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be a driven, independent, and passionate healthcare provider dedicated to providing quality individualized care to each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered, evidence-informed care with a focus on optimizing the patient experience
- Assess, treat, and educate patients confidently and concisely
- Work independently, problem solve, and adapt to unique patient needs
- Collaborate with chiropractors and physiotherapists to provide co-management and therapeutic diversity
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including continuing education in clinical assessment, manual therapy techniques, communication, and practice management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and treatment planning skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to unique patient needs
- Passion for providing patient-centered care with a focus on optimizing the patient experience
- Clinical acuity to assess, treat, and educate patients confidently and concisely
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and teamwork amongst colleagues and administrative employees
