About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing mechanical and electrical projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of mechanical and electrical projects.
  • Manage and coordinate with project teams, including contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Prepare and review project reports, including progress updates, budget variances, and quality control metrics.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and provide expert advice on mechanical and electrical systems and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure EllisDon remains a leader in the construction industry.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in mechanical and electrical construction, with a proven track record of managing projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar tools.
