We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at Smith + Andersen. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage project risks, identify and mitigate potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure project quality and safety standards.
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management and clients.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably in the building services industry.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or equivalent certification.
- Advanced knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- LEED certification or experience in sustainable design is an asset.
