Opportunity: Account Executive - Energy Public Sector
Are you passionate about driving technology adoption within the Canadian Energy Public Sector? Do you possess a deep understanding of the public sector landscape and the technical expertise to position AWS as a key technology partner? If so, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth in this dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue and drive partner/customer agreement margins within the Energy Public Sector segment.
- Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and technical teams to identify market trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
- Lead the development of customized solutions that address specific public sector challenges and leverage AWS's comprehensive cloud offerings.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, building strong relationships and driving adoption of AWS services.
- Provide expert guidance and support to customers throughout their cloud journey, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing value realization.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of proven experience in the Canadian Public Sector, with a focus on technology solutions and strategic partnerships.
- Extensive knowledge of the Energy Public Sector landscape, including key stakeholders, regulations, and industry trends.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, AWS services, and best practices for public sector deployments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies, build relationships with key decision-makers, and drive revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
