About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team at 15188318 Canada Inc. as a Masonry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and installing masonry structures, including brick, concrete block, and structural tile units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Installation: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles to build masonry structures, including walls, foundations, and chimneys.
  • Masonry Work: Lay bricks, stone, and similar materials to provide veneer facings, construct and install prefabricated masonry units, and work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Tool Operation: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced construction environment, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 5 years or more of experience in the field.
  • Work Setting: Construction, commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team player attitude.
