About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at BARCELOS MASONRY INC. as a Bricklayer and Construction Expert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for constructing and installing masonry units, including bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay masonry units to build residential and commercial structures
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, including chimneys and fireplaces
  • Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations
  • Read and interpret blueprints to calculate materials required
  • Cut and trim masonry units to specification using hand and power tools
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be working in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in masonry construction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and attention to detail
