Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at GJLC2 FOOD SERVICES INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, keep records of food quantities used, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, handle and store cleaning products, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and will be required to work under pressure. You will be part of a team that values client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and teamwork.

Language and Work Conditions

The work language is English, and the work term is permanent. The work hours are 30 hours per week.
