Role Overview:

The Chief Executive Officer will spearhead the strategic, operational, and financial management of BBBSWB. This leadership position requires a visionary and experienced individual committed to nurturing a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide a clear strategic vision to fulfill BBBSWB's mission.
  • Collaborate with the Board and stakeholders to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities.
  • Oversee the development and execution of operational plans and budgets.
  • Manage organizational risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Implement innovative programs and fundraising strategies.

Financial Oversight:

  • Ensure effective financial management and adherence to budgets.
  • Lead fundraising initiatives and develop diverse revenue strategies.
  • Monitor financial performance and report to the Board.

Team Leadership:

  • Guide staff in achieving strategic goals and measuring outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of respect, diversity, and teamwork.
  • Support staff development and performance management.

Community Engagement:

  • Promote the organization’s vision and impact within the community.
  • Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role.
  • Postsecondary education in a relevant field.
  • Experience in youth-focused organizations is preferred.
  • Strong financial management and fundraising skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.

This position requires a commitment to the mission of BBBSWB and a passion for youth development. A Criminal Record Check is a condition of employment.
