About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2198750 ALBERTA LTD. O/A SAND CASTLE STEAKHOUSE. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, tight deadlines, work under pressure, accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, time management.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting, occasional standing, and walking.
