Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate and timely entry of transactions, and complying with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of transactions, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Comply with financial regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Assist with budget analysis and variance reporting, including identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Perform general ledger maintenance and reconciliation, including account analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting software, including financial planning and analysis tools.
  • CPA enrollment or certification preferred.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
