Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at SS&S Consulting Inc. as a key member of our Human Resources department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic support to our organization by developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Human Resources Policy Development
    • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate with management to ensure that policies and programs are communicated effectively to employees.
  • Employee Experience
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
    • Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development
    • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
    • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs.
    • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs.
  • Business Operations
    • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes to improve business operations.
    • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Judgement and decision-making skills.
    • Organizational and time management skills.
    • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
