We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Interventionist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and coordination of clinical treatment programs for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The Clinical Interventionist will work closely with members of the team and community partners to provide a holistic, client-centered approach. This includes collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and registration/licensure with the appropriate professional regulatory organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with children with behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly ASD.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment. They will also have a valid Nova Scotia driver's license and be proficient in other languages an asset.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for children with ASD
- Collaborate with team members and community partners to provide a holistic approach
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide supervision and leadership to team members
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
The successful candidate may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
