About the Role
BDO is seeking a highly skilled Risk Advisory Manager to join our Evaluation team within the Risk Advisory Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading engagement teams to plan and provide program evaluation services to a range of public sector organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engagement teams to plan and provide program evaluation services to public sector clients.
- Oversee the review, assessment, and documentation of program effectiveness, efficiency, and relevance.
- Develop and enhance environmental, social, and governance practices for clients.
- Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Actively participate in business development opportunities, including responding to Requests for Proposals.
- Present complex ideas through clear written and verbal communications.
- Review key deliverables and provide feedback to staff to ensure high-quality client service.
- Develop and refresh methodologies related to existing and new solutions and services.
- Manage projects to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Mentor and support colleagues to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
- Master's or post-graduate degree from a recognized university.
- Professional designation (e.g., Credentialed Evaluator) or interest in pursuing.
- At least 5 years of experience in evaluation or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Focused on goals, results, and client satisfaction.
- Government of Canada security clearance.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
