Role Overview
As a Junior Quantitative Analyst, you will engage in comprehensive quantitative research with an emphasis on predictive modeling. You will receive training in all facets of systematic trading, from the inception of ideas to practical trading considerations. Successful candidates will evolve into thought leaders within our collaborative research environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative quantitative alpha signal research.
- Review, interpret, and analyze the latest academic findings.
- Oversee all stages of the research process, including idea generation, data analysis, hypothesis formulation and testing, alpha discovery, trading strategy development, backtesting, and portfolio evaluation.
- Create analytical tools to enhance our collective research framework.
Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or PhD in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, or another quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python (or a similar programming language) and familiarity with SQL.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Willingness to take ownership of your work.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality results promptly.
- Detail-oriented approach.
- Prior experience in the financial services sector is not mandatory.
