Position Overview

Are you passionate about hands-on work and eager to learn? No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. The Fitness Equipment Maintenance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of fitness apparatus within our resort-like setting. This position is essential for maintaining safety standards by swiftly addressing malfunctioning equipment and performing routine maintenance checks. Additionally, this role involves liaising with club management to coordinate general repairs and facility upkeep. You will significantly contribute to delivering exceptional quality to our members, empowering them to lead healthier and happier lives. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all fitness equipment operates safely and efficiently
  • Maintains detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed
  • Handles electrical systems, audio/video equipment, basic plumbing, and general facility maintenance tasks
  • Conducts preventative maintenance to guarantee optimal equipment functionality
  • Manages purchase orders, orders necessary parts for repairs, and establishes timelines for delivery
  • Assists the Department Head in budget management

Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than one year of experience in a relevant field
  • CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment
