Position: Junior QA Test Engineer

We are currently seeking a Junior QA Test Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. This role involves testing Survalent's software through manual testing methodologies, identifying, and reporting any bugs or issues.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Familiarity with software product testing and automation is advantageous
  • Basic understanding of the SCADA industry and automation is beneficial
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong technical writing skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work under pressure
  • Collaborative mindset to work with global team members
  • Quick learner with a strong desire to understand new technologies
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent communication, listening, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product testing for Survalent software solutions
  • Collaborate with the software development team
  • Define and execute manual testing procedures, including data validation and regression analysis
  • Analyze requirements and design test scenarios
  • Manage test environments, preparation, and execution
  • Document defects and follow up on resolutions, assessing severity and prioritizing accordingly
  • Coordinate necessary fixes for each software release
  • Maintain ongoing task tracking and daily synchronization
  • Keep comprehensive records of test results to aid in debugging and software modifications
  • Assist the QA Manager in quality assurance investigations
  • Support the collection of results and preparation of QA statistics for reporting
  • Prepare, archive, and distribute quality testing data results
  • Collaborate with the QA team to establish a foundation for test automation
  • Work effectively with other Survalent staff to resolve quality issues
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
