Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our connected services and vehicle health report type features/applications. This includes testing, troubleshooting, and defect management to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans to validate the quality of our connected services and vehicle health report type features/applications.
  • Identify and troubleshoot defects in our products, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is integrated into all aspects of our product development process.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, corner cases, and failure mode effects analysis to ensure comprehensive testing.
  • Perform performance, ad hoc, functional, stability, user experience, and regression testing of new and existing product enhancements.
  • Manage defect reports and tracking, communicating with development teams and management to ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with testing tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
