Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft commercial contracts with clients.
  • Create client-focused solutions to ensure adherence to legal standards while addressing client requirements.
  • Offer expert legal guidance on international privacy and data security issues.
  • Provide counsel on privacy and data protection legislation and regulations.
  • Assist in the management of privacy and cybersecurity incident response initiatives.
  • Help develop educational materials on privacy for staff training.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in-house as legal counsel with a focus on privacy.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts.
