Recreation Facility (Arena) Operator (Casual)
The City of Martensville is seeking to fill up to two (2) positions for Casual Recreation Facility Operators dedicated to the operations of the Martensville Sports Centre Arena.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, the role involves overseeing the maintenance of the facility and ice at the Martensville Sports Centre Arena.
WORKING HOURS:
This position supports the full-time arena personnel, with hours varying primarily on weekends, including Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings, along with additional shifts to cover for full-time staff during their absences.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPENSATION:
Required Education: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Compensation: In accordance with the CUPE LOCAL 2582 Collective Agreement:
- Standard Rate: $26.75 per hour
- Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour for all hours worked Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 6 am and for all weekend shifts.
