About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Special Touch Landscaping. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and meeting client expectations.
    • Plan and coordinate the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
  • Team Management
    • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, and fertilizing.
    • Manage and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and expectations are exceeded.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records and logs of project activities, including work schedules, materials used, and labor hours.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
    • Permanent employment
    • 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Language
    • English
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 35-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and may be required to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
