Brandt is seeking a driven and experienced Agriculture Division Manager to lead our Central Alberta operations, based out of Red Deer.

Reporting directly to the VP of Operations - Agriculture Alberta, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, profitability, and market share across multiple branches within your division.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Developing and executing annual budgets for all branches under your purview, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
  • Spearheading strategies to enhance sales performance and profitability across all departments – wholegoods, parts, service, and administration.
  • Optimizing asset management by implementing effective inventory control measures, minimizing aging stock, and safeguarding company assets.
  • Cultivating a high-performing team through talent development initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, and empowering employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Establishing clear performance metrics for managers and conducting regular evaluations based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify market trends, competitive pressures, and emerging opportunities within the agricultural sector.
  • Working closely with the Director of Credit Services to manage division account receivables effectively.
  • Maintaining a strong presence at assigned branches to provide leadership, guidance, and support to your team.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key suppliers to ensure a seamless flow of goods and services.
  • Participating in industry events and initiatives to enhance brand visibility and strengthen customer relationships.

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • A deep understanding of financial principles, including cost management, business planning, and goal setting within a management context.
  • A proven track record of success in the heavy equipment industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in management or business operations.
  • Strong leadership skills, coupled with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for driving excellence within the agricultural sector.
