We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Johnston Packers (1995) LTD.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety
- Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including trip reports, maintenance records, and accident reports
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
- Experience in heavy goods transportation
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
