About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our Domestic Tax practice in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading client engagements, identifying business and tax opportunities, and developing strategies to capitalize on them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements for a wide variety of clients, including small and medium enterprises
  • Identify and develop strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities
  • Prepare and review tax reorganizations and review corporate, trust and estate tax returns
  • Build positive working relationships with clients
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team
Requirements
  • Completed CPA designation
  • 5 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 2 years
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance
  • Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • Display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
