About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our Domestic Tax practice in Canada. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading client engagements, identifying and developing strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, and preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations and corporate, trust, and estate tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagements for a wide variety of clients, including small and medium enterprises
  • Identify and develop strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities
  • Prepare and review tax reorganizations and corporate, trust, and estate tax returns
  • Build positive working relationships with clients
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

Requirements:

  • Completed CPA designation
  • 5 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 2 years
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance
  • Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • Display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
