We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Port Hope Guardian Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Workflow: Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure efficient use of staff time and resources.
- Third-Party Billing: Bill third-party insurers for patient services.
- Claims Processing: Process claims such as health insurance or workers' compensation.
- Supply Management: Maintain supplies and ensure they are readily available for use.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and ordering.
- Support for Healthcare Professionals: Assist healthcare professionals with tasks and duties as needed.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Permanent Employment: We offer permanent employment with a stable and supportive work environment.
- Language of Work: English.
- Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
