We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Port Hope Guardian Pharmacy.
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities. This role will involve scheduling, workflow management, billing, and inventory control.
Responsibilities:- Scheduling and Workflow Management: Assist with scheduling and workflow management to ensure efficient operation of the pharmacy.
- Billing and Claims Processing: Bill third-party insurers and process claims such as health insurance or workers' compensation.
- Inventory Control: Maintain supplies and organize and maintain inventory.
- Support for Healthcare Professionals: Assist healthcare professionals with tasks and duties as required.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
- Recruitment and Support: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster and support them with foreign credential recognition.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Permanent Employment: We offer permanent employment with a stable and supportive work environment.
- Language of Work: English.
- Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
