Director of Human Resources

We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our team as Director of Human Resources at Nova Scotia Community College. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership across all HR functions, including talent management, organizational development, and employee experience.

  • Guide the College through transformational HR strategies, ensuring our workforce is agile, resilient, and future-ready.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, with a strong working knowledge of HR functions, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience leading a human resources agenda within a large, complex, unionized organization.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, with experience developing and implementing DEI strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives that enhance diversity, address systemic inequities, and create opportunities for all employees to thrive.
