The Senior Manager of Cloud Infrastructure will be at the forefront of leading a talented group of architects and leaders, steering the design and execution of technical strategies that ensure Moneris maintains a scalable, secure, and compliant Hybrid Cloud infrastructure tailored to support our business needs.

Collaboration and Leadership:
You will work closely with teams across Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, Operations, Information Security, and Development to drive large-scale initiatives, create frameworks, and establish design standards and processes.

Location:
This position is based in a hybrid model, allowing flexibility in your work environment.

Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the Director of Cloud Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Cloud and Infrastructure Architects to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to define and enforce Cloud & Infrastructure architecture standards, frameworks, and guidelines to ensure quality and consistency in infrastructure designs.
  • Provide insights to project sponsors regarding project plans, financial estimates, resource allocation, and business cases.
  • Drive the execution of the Cloud Transformation program, including participation and leadership in the Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Establish and lead the Cloud Architecture CoE as part of the Agile Transformation initiative.
  • Define, design, and oversee the implementation of infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Work with Information Security teams to implement robust security measures in cloud and infrastructure architecture, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, configurations, and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in software development or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Approximately 7+ years of managerial experience leading cloud and/or infrastructure architecture teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Software-defined Networks, including Cisco ACI, F5, and Palo Alto-based solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and make an impact in a cross-functional Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with payment systems and the merchant acquiring business is considered an asset.
