We're seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge data pipelines.

Your Role:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using Snowflake for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Leverage Databricks for large-scale data processing and ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Write clean, maintainable Python code to manipulate and transform data, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement robust data quality checks and validation processes to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of our data assets.
  • Design and implement data models using the Data Vault methodology, leveraging the WhereScape (RED & 3D) suite of tools for efficient data management.
  • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub to automate the deployment of data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery.
  • Utilize Azure cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics, leveraging the scalability and flexibility of the platform.

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake development best practices, including query optimization, security, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and big data processing frameworks like Databricks, enabling efficient data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, demonstrating a strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in relational database development (preferably Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle), ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data management, data design, and database architecture, contributing to the overall data strategy and implementation.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and testing Azure data pipelines, leveraging the platform's capabilities for robust data integration and processing.
