About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team at Comsense Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, using technical manuals, online resources, and collaboration with other technical teams as needed.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of various software applications, hardware devices, and network systems.
  • Incident Management: Manage and resolve technical incidents in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and best practices, and share knowledge with other technical teams to improve overall technical capabilities.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Shell Scripting: Experience with shell scripting and automation tools.
  • Networking Security: Knowledge of networking security principles and best practices.
  • Desktop Applications: Experience with desktop applications, including Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and in-office work. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a remote environment and communicate regularly with the team.
