Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Peace River Boat & Auto Repair Ltd. as a key member of our repair team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and make necessary repairs.
  • Work with a variety of automotive systems, including engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, and brake systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective repair processes.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and problems encountered.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification or equivalent.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced repair environment with frequent deadlines.
  • May be required to work in a dusty and noisy environment.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
