In this position, you will be supported by a skilled team, including a Practice Manager and a group of registered and student nurses, ensuring a collaborative and enriching work environment.
Your working hours will encompass a standard week, including a shared weekend rota, with no out-of-hours responsibilities.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team.
- Ensure high standards of care for clients and their pets.
- Assist in surgical procedures, managing all pre and post-operative tasks.
- Oversee nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries.
- Monitor and care for patients effectively.
- Manage patient admissions and discharges as directed.
- Facilitate patient transfers to enhanced care services.
- Dispense and verify medications.
- Uphold professional excellence by adhering to all regulatory and operational standards.
- Inspire and develop your team, sharing best practices and new procedures.
- Encourage collaboration and the sharing of clinical knowledge across the Medivet community.
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS.
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding patient and client care.
- Ability to lead a clinical team confidently.
- Experience in fostering a progressive clinical environment through nurse-led initiatives.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills to enhance team performance.
