Job Title: Guitar Maker

F BASS INC. is seeking a skilled Guitar Maker to join our team. As a Guitar Maker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality instruments, supervising apprentices, and ensuring the final assembly meets our standards.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, with experience in producing carvings from wood, stone, and other materials. You will work in a dust-filled environment with moderate noise levels.

Responsibilities
  • Produce carvings from wood, stone, and other materials
  • Construct instruments, including bass guitars and lead guitars
  • Supervise apprentices or other artisans
  • Clean, polish, file, or otherwise finish products
  • Check final assembly for finish, labeling, and packaging methods
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment with moderate noise levels
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
