Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Rutherford Village Dental and Thornhill Family Orthodontics. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional support to our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists and hygienists with clinical procedures, including chairside assistance and instrumentation.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment according to infection control and practice protocols.
  • Establish strong relationships with patients, maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Stay up-to-date with practice health and safety requirements, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • HARP Certified, level II with National Dental Assistant Examining Board (NDAEB) is required.
  • Previous dental assistant experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in the English language.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with patients across all age groups.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Punctual and reliable.
