Position Overview

S&S General Contractors is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction activities and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Assess daily operations and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Organize and plan daily operational tasks effectively.
  • Select and manage trade subcontractors to fulfill project requirements.
  • Prepare and present budget estimates for construction projects.
  • Recruit, hire, and oversee staff and volunteers involved in projects.
  • Supervise subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress regularly.
  • Draft contracts and negotiate any revisions or changes as needed.
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures for quality assurance.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings accurately.
  • Manage project budgets effectively to ensure financial viability.
  • Implement quality control programs to maintain high standards.
  • Oversee data analysis and reporting for project performance.
Supervision
  • Manage a team of 3-4 individuals.
  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week
