About the Position: We are in search of an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Practice Leader - Bonding Underwriting and Talent Management. This position is vital in driving our expansion by nurturing talent and supporting the senior management team across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and deliver training programs for both new hires and current staff based on organizational needs and succession strategies.
  • Assist directors and analysts with a variety of tasks including annual assessments, claims processing, case evaluations, client and broker engagements, and presentations to reinsurers.
  • Collaborate with the National Bonding Underwriting team to improve underwriting practices and standards.
  • Oversee the regional client monitoring list.
  • Lead special initiatives at both regional and national scales.
  • Engage in business development and foster relationships with brokers and clients.
  • Act as a representative for the company and team at industry associations and bonding beneficiary gatherings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Professional designations such as CPA, CGA, CMA, or CFA are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in bonding.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the bonding and construction sectors.
  • Client-centric, results-driven, and innovative approach.
  • Collaborative team player with the capacity to lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in both French and English.
