We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Save-on-Foods Sushi Bar. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the size of food portions and costs
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- Fast-paced environment
- Team player
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- 30 to 40 hours per week
- English as the primary language of work
