Sushi Bar Cook

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Save-on-Foods Sushi Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality dishes.
- Kitchen Operations: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, inspect kitchens and food service areas, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
