Job Title: Manager, Content

At Jonas Software - Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the business needs of our Canadian operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our business leaders, providing guidance on HR-related matters and leading change management projects.
  • Manage and direct the people management-related agenda in the organization, ensuring compliance with corporate policy and all federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support and direct full cycle Recruitment and New Hire Orientation processes, ensuring timely and accurate updates of employee data in the Workday HRIS system.
  • Collect and analyze HR data to measure the efficacy of the team and make improvements to HR services and processes as necessary.
  • Work remotely with as much effectiveness in managing staff and issues as if onsite.
Requirements:
  • 4-7 years of experience at the Generalist level with a focus on employee relations, and managing multi-location facilities.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing others, mentoring and coaching.
  • Strong knowledge of local, provincial, and federal employment laws and regulations and experience with employee relations issues.
  • Working knowledge of applications such as Workday and MS Office, with a high level of ability in Excel and a passion for metrics-based reporting and management.
